Have been taking photography as a serious hobby for over five years now. I am learning as I go and still looking for new and interesting things to shoot!

Currently back in Brisbane with my girl, after spending 3 months in Europe and 9 months in New Zealand.

Canon 50D with BG-E2N, 17-40mm f/4 L, 24-70mm f/2.8 L, 70-300mm IS, 50mm f/1.4, 580EX and 420EX Speedlite flashes and Manfrotto and Gorilla Grip tripod gear

Snowy Landscapes : I went with a drive with Auke to see the frosty trees on the outskirts of Waalwijk. This is a reasonably rare sight so I was really glad to have caught it! I used a circular polariser for all these shots to darken the sky and bring out the frost and snow. These came out rather well!
